This privacy policy explains what data Skyrocket Consulting ("we," "us," "Skyrocket") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to skyrocketconsulting.vip and all of its subpages, including the Skyrocket client portal and the Skyrocket Creator Dashboard.
We've written this in plain language. If anything is unclear, contact us at the address at the bottom of this page.
1. Who we are
Skyrocket Consulting is a coaching service for content creators. We provide one-on-one consulting, content strategy, growth audits, and analytics review. Our services are delivered through scheduled calls, written deliverables, and our client portal.
This policy covers our website and all related services. It does not cover third-party platforms (YouTube, X, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Google, etc.) — each of those has its own privacy policy that you accept when you sign up with them.
2. What we collect
Information you give us directly
- Account and intake information. When you book a consultation or become a client, you provide your name, email, phone (optional), creator handles, platform links, audience size, and goals for the engagement.
- Communications. Emails, messages in the client portal, notes you share during calls, and any documents you upload.
- Payment information. Handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers — only the last four digits and a token used for billing.
Information we collect automatically
- Basic site analytics. Anonymous information about which pages you visit, your approximate region, browser type, and referring source. We use this only to improve the site.
- Authentication state. If you sign in to the client portal, we store a session token in your browser so you don't have to sign in again each visit.
Information we receive from third-party platforms when you connect them
The Skyrocket Creator Dashboard offers an optional feature that lets you connect your YouTube, X, Twitch, TikTok, and/or Instagram accounts to view all of your analytics in one place. This is opt-in. If you never connect a platform, we never receive any data from that platform.
When you choose to connect a platform, you are redirected to that platform's official sign-in page (operated by Google, X, Twitch, TikTok, or Meta) where you grant Skyrocket read-only permission to a specific set of data. We then receive only the data you authorized. Specifically:
| Platform | Scopes requested | What we read |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube (via Google) |
youtube.readonlyyt-analytics.readonlyyt-analytics-monetary.readonly |

Your profile information, follower and following counts, impressions and engagement on your posts, profile visit metrics. |
| Twitch | user:read:emailanalytics:read:gameschannel:read:subscriptionsbits:read |

Your profile information, follower count, reach, impressions, profile views, post-level insights, Reels plays, Story metrics, audience demographics. Requires an Instagram Business or Creator account. |
3. What we do with your data
We use your data to:
- Deliver the consulting services you signed up for — preparing for calls, building strategy documents, reviewing your performance metrics with you
- Display your own platform analytics back to you in the Skyrocket Creator Dashboard, alongside the same dashboard your coach sees during sessions
- Send service-related communications (appointment reminders, deliverables, invoices)
- Improve our services based on what features clients actually use
- Comply with legal obligations (tax records, lawful requests)
4. What we never do
- We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone
- We do not post, comment, like, share, or send messages on your behalf. All scopes we request are read-only
- We do not change your account settings, passwords, or profile information on any connected platform
- We do not use your platform data to train machine learning models
- We do not share your data with other Skyrocket clients
- We do not use your data for advertising or marketing to third parties
5. Who can see your data
Inside Skyrocket, only the consultant assigned to your account and authorized Skyrocket staff with a legitimate operational need (e.g., for billing or technical support) can access your data. We do not share your data with other clients or third parties except in the limited cases described below.
We use a small set of trusted service providers to operate Skyrocket:
- Netlify — website hosting and serverless functions
- Google Cloud / Firebase — secure storage of OAuth tokens and session data
- Our payment processor — billing
- Our calendar/scheduling tool — booking consultations
These providers process data on our behalf, under contracts that restrict their use of that data to providing services to us. They are not allowed to use your data for their own purposes.
We may also disclose data when legally required (subpoena, court order, lawful investigation), to protect Skyrocket's rights, or in connection with a future sale or merger of our business — in which case you would be notified before your data changes hands.
6. How long we keep your data
- OAuth tokens for connected platforms: kept as long as the connection is active. If you disconnect a platform or your refresh token expires, we delete the tokens immediately
- Platform analytics we've cached: kept while you are an active client, then deleted within 30 days of the end of your engagement (unless you specifically ask us to retain them)
- Client communications and deliverables: retained for the duration of our relationship plus a reasonable period to handle follow-up questions and tax requirements
- Payment records: retained as required by tax law (typically 7 years)
- Anonymous site analytics: aggregated and retained indefinitely
7. Your rights and controls
You can:
- Disconnect any platform at any time directly from the Skyrocket Creator Dashboard, or by revoking access in that platform's own settings (for Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions). When you disconnect, we stop receiving any new data from that platform and delete the stored tokens
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data at any time
- Correct inaccurate information
- Withdraw consent for any optional processing
To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address at the bottom of this page. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the CCPA respectively. We honor these rights for all users regardless of location.
8. How we protect your data
- All traffic to and from Skyrocket is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest in Firebase, scoped to your account
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized Skyrocket staff and requires multi-factor authentication
- We do not store passwords for any third-party platform — OAuth tokens are used instead, and you can revoke them at any time
- We follow industry best practices for vulnerability patching and key rotation
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you promptly and clearly.
9. Children
Skyrocket Consulting services are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International users
Skyrocket Consulting is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using Skyrocket, you consent to this transfer.
11. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences within the client portal and dashboard. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that meaningfully affects your rights, we will notify active clients by email and post a clear notice on our site at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
